Best-Case Scenario
– Can develop into a #2 RB, or a 3rd down back able to capitalize on his burst and speed
Likely Reality
– Gets a shot with an NFL team as a possible #3, 3rd down runner
Projected Round
– 7th round, priority undrafted free agent
Potential to Land with Steelers
The Steelers need a complementary runner to Najee Harris, and Chandler could possibly be that. Productive at both Tennessee and North Carolina, some argue Chandler can be a 3-down back, but he is better suited for spot-duty in the NFL. His burst, stocky frame, and straight-line speed make him an interesting prospect to consider as lightning to Harris’s thunder. Could potentially pull Chandler as an undrafted rookie free agent.
