By Jeremy Hritz

Height: 6’3
Weight: 200
40-Yard Dash (est.): 4.5
College: Nicholls State
Career Stats/Notable
– 236 receptions, 3802 yards, 35 touchdownsHad a reception in 50 consecutive games
Strengths
– Big-bodied receiver with the ability to make combat catches
– Inherent ability to catch the football; reliable receiver
– Ability to high-point the football for tall passes out of range of defensive backs
– Highly productive on the field
Areas for Growth
– Lacks elite speed, not a burner
– Raw talent, needs polish in running his routes
– Will struggle to get open against NFL defensive backs
– Production is at a small school against lesser competition
Best-Case Scenario
– Establishes himself as a physical possession receiver able to make contested catches; threat in the red zone
Likely Reality
– Developmental player who can provide depth at the wide receiver position, but lack of speed will keep him from being a major contributor.
Projected Round
– 7th round, priority undrafted free agent
Potential to Land with the Steelers
– Could be a developmental prospect the Steelers consider late in the draft, or as an undrafted rookie if Juju Smith-Schuster departs, as it will create more of a need to retool the wide receiver room. His stature, combined with natural hands, if the team can manufacture his ability to get open in the end zone, could make him a viable option in the passing game.
